I met up with Alan over at SF's BFF yesterday and a bunch of other PFG riders and
we are glad to say that Alan is deff. one of the fastest PFG riders, and him destroying all the other riders at the sprint track sure proves it.

So we just finished 12 new polo sticks (we still have a bunch of the old ones)
All they need is bar tape to actually complete them but that's easy and we're stoked to say that were planing a huge polo game where we can have multiple games going on.
Maybe even a teamed turnament with a cash prize! It's in the works and DANNY M. GET AT ME SO WE CAN DECIDE ON A DATE!!!!

It's been a while... we've all been busy

Hey everyone... it's been a while.
We've all been working hard on our own projects lately, school, work, riding, shooting, everything. So I wanted to take a second and say if your part of the PFG family and have anything interesting to post please send it to me (daniel). I'll post it up. Here's some stuff that's been happening in my life recently along with a few photos i've stumbled upon.

First thing's first...
Went with the Destroy crew all the way out to Milwaukee Wisconsin for Midwest Mayhem 2! It was such a blast. We drove all the way their in the Destroy van and man was it a trip. Kenny and Myself competed and had a blast. We both landed a lot of hard tricks and I personally learned a few new ones while I was there.
here's a few photos from the comp that I found.
(Kenny I know you found a bunch of your self so let me know and I'll throw them up here)

I'll post more later but we do have a bunch of sick stuff in the works.
Things like Polo this summer, Poker night at the Destroy Shop! Night/Group/Picknick rides! And possibly road trippin to somewhere awesome to ride and make some memories... So please PFG let's get this shit rolling this summer. I know you all have lifes but lets have fun this summer.

Oh yea... I also lost my phone in Wisconsin so no use in calling me.
But let's make this shit happen.

Lacking on the updates

So yes yes yes... I know we've been lacking up the updates but due to rain, and broken bikes, and riders being hurt it's hard to find decent stuff to post.
Tomorrow I'll be posting photos of the new Destroy bars given to us by Sean and Marcus over at Destroy. I'll be riding the risers and Kenny will be riding ones with a cross bar which should be finished later on this week.
They're wide, have a lovely 3 inch rise, and are strong as hell!
I believe Alex B. from SJ also has a pair. They only had 30 made and 4 are already gone so go get yourself a pair!!!

Haley, Sean, Pat, and myself headed up to Seattle to visit Amanda and James and have vegan thanksgiving, but more or less to go on a sweet vacation and visit a new place!

So I've heard about them for a little while and a few PFG members have run into them around while out on rides and I finally met up a few downtown in P.A. at Pizza My Heart (my favvv). After meeting 2 of them I realized they've been by my shop a few times and I've already met a majority of them while I fixed a few of their bikes.
Here's a photo of Josue's Leader TRK.
He's rocking a B43 ft, custom Pink Aerospoke in the rear.
Holdfast's, black Sugino's, short bmx stem and some small risers.
I dig his bike so much! So simple and perfect color cordinated.
Also great for speed as well as tricks.
We'll deff be seeing these guys around and hopefully we can all do a big group ride sometime soon. Hit us up EPA FIXED!!!

JERRY YOU RULE! So my Boss Jerry (black & white photography teacher)
asked to ride my thrasher one night in the art studio and how could I say no?
So he set up a giant obstacle course with all the easels and desks in the class room and began tearing it up! It was his first time riding fixed and on a 30lb bike! By far the coolest guy you'll ever meet. I love you Jerry!

So about a week ago Pat, Kenny and myself went out to take some photos and hit some gaps. We found a sweet wallride and I snapped this sweet photo of Kenny hittin a wall ride.
Later Patrick snapped some photos of me jumping off a ledge over a picknick table.
I landed it a few times but the last photo is of one right before I got bucked over my bike and throw 10ft on my side down the parking lot.

So part of PFG drove out to IBike this year. Sean, Tyler Z, Patrick as well as friends Mo and Steven went. We also met up with fellow PFG members Kenny and Jordan when we could...as they were working the Chrome booth; sickest one there btw. We had one hell of a time seeing all the venders, events, and going to nice little after hour partys.

Sean snap's his new fork...

So I went to meet up with Sean and all the other PFG riders at Stanford last night (9/27), and I see Sean jumping this 5 stair on his new prototype 3G frame... He just got this frame less than a week ago and picked it up complete at Interbike! At first glance this bike is a beast! it fit's a giant 26x3.4 sized tire!!! It also came micro gear which I was bummed about and has horrible barspin clearance but overall the weight on this Aluminum frame came out to be under 24lbs!

All in all I bust out Haley's new D90 and begin shooting. Sean jumps this 5 stair about 5 or 6 times and after the 6th time I hear everyone start yelling. I turn and to my surprise this is what I see....

Sean then procedes to ram his frame into a wall and inevitably straightens his fork enough so he can ride his bike home.

On Sunday Daniel, Kenny, and I (Colin) decided to make our rainy day more exciting by throwing all our bikes into Kenny's Chrome van. We then drove and picked up Jordan, Patrick, and Zadi and got down to the biking! After awhile we picked up our good friend Taylor to join us on our outing. We ended up at Stanford where we set up Taylors quarter pipe and rode. All in all it was a day well spent!

A few weeks back a few of us from PFG went to the top of Ralston to get some footage. We all rode down Ralston and took turns getting our footage, as of now I only have footage of me (Colin) and Kenny has the rest. The rest will be put up at some point in the near future.
While I was riding down this hill, I broke one of my Soma Double Clips and tore the Toshi Double Strap that was on that pedal. It was a close call, but I ended up being fine.

So i've been super busy preparing to go to Long Beach CA with Taylor and Haley.
I haven't really been riding with my PFG homies. There's been so much shit going on with getting a bike ready for myself to ride, picking up parts, putting it together, tires not fitting correctly.
Anyhoo, here's a couple of dope photos Triee562 posted on Trick Track,
This girl is legit as fuck! Buddy Jake from San Lorenzo (Area Cycles) told me she's bout 15 to 17 and pretty fucking good at tarckin. She was rockin a blue 50,or 53cm cutter with a dmr or somethin, and DUAL 26"s!!! She was doing barspins and bunnyhops.

Anyway. This weekend was a blast. We met a ton of amazing riders, got to see the World Premier of REVOKED! Watched our first Gold Sprints, and rode some dope spots.

So about a week ago after a ride and filming we (PFG)
went back to our buddy Kenny's house in Menlo Park.
We all sat around his house watching footage, listening to music, and getting drunk.
Well they did for that matter ha.
I brought my polaroid camera over with some old expired film I had lying around and took some photos. They all came out super yellow and really washy so I scanned this one and tried to edit it on p.s. as best as I could.

Yesterday myself and Taylor went out riding
We first hit up Red Morton and Taylor just destroyed the bowl!
Then we drove up to Woodside High and met up with Marcus who got a flat
Then the Woodside Bike shop for some parts. Then grabbed some grub and then hit up greer! All in all was an awesome day with lots of tricks landed. Lots of falling. No ones bike breaking and no one getting too hurt!

Today I (daniel) went to Milbrae with Haley to meet up with Marcus.
We rode the Milbrae skatepark for a while and both myself and marcus landed a bunch of new tricks. Rock fakies, Rock and rolls, a couple disasters, nose mannys, and a bunch of hip transfers. We then drove to Brisbane to get some clips and a small diserted skatepark. Here's two clips I ened up landing.

Sac Town Trick Comp

So yesterday Daniel and Taylor (P.A.) went out to Sac town for their 5 stop trick comp. Taylor Dwight took first place and Daniel took 2nd. Rich Baldwin from SF who's also a good friend took 3rd. A local named Brad who was super cool and was also killing it took 4th and was 1 point away from tieing Rich.

It was put on by Kris of Lockedcog and it was a blast! A trick comp where you travel to 5 diff spots and they choose the top 3 riders at each spot.
1st place rider get's a prize at each spot, 2nd and 3rd get points. At the end of the comp, rider with the most points get's 1st and then so on. There were a ton of prizes from IMINUSD, LOCKEDCOG, JOHNCARDIEL ANTIHERO! WHAT!, EIGHTHINCH, LUCKYLEFTS, & REDBULL. By far the best trick comp I've ever been to. Tons of locals also came out and joined in on the group ride to each spot. Afterwards they had the London 2 Paris/Revival Premier which are also two amazing videos! Go check them out.

And a special thanks to MR.Dwight for driving us out to sac. as well and hanging out and riding with a group or reckless kids ha.

Tool bag

So I decided to sew a new tool bag up because the one I had just wasn't cutting it.
I have a little hip pouch that Mike gave me that works amazing but it can't hold my big wrenches so I decided to make a new one. Not to say I don't use Mike cause I trust it to hold my wallet/phone/ipod and other things too.
So here it is...

This little tool pouch fit's in my bag great and seems to be working alright. When I don't take it with me it hangs on a hook in my tool shed. It also has a big pocket in the back that holds my spoke keys, ratchet ends and spacers/other random parts.

I posted this now because it's not that great compared to the rolltops/hip pouches/back packs that will be posted by Mike B. out of Los Altos also known as
Into The Mecha/Lithe Clothworks

So Pat, Daniel, and Scott went to Greer (P.A.) today and rode the park. Got a bunch of photos of Daniel getting air, and Scott doing barspin to fakie in the deep end of the bowl. Pat was wheeling around the bowl on his S-Works.
Daniel tried to air out of the bowl over the trash can but none of the photos below are of him landing it.

Sometimes in life you must do something in one take. Master chefs, golfers, free climbers - all have to make their first take count. In Daniel's case on Saturday, clearing a 200 foot, stagnant, scum puddle along a banked sidewall was his first take. The picture speaks for itself.

Well...
Daniel rode a piece of sh*t a$$ Specialized Cross Roads frame hahaha.It was given to him by his friend Kelly Davis who's dad had it lying around.She gave it to him because her dad was sick of seeing the damn thing.

After riding it for about 6 months.
The bike finally died with Daniel being hit by a car while towing Xavier on his skateboard. A block from the skatepark.
Luckily Daniel was able to jump off the bike right as some dumb b*tch took out the back end. He survived with just minor flesh wounds.
All said and done he needed a new bike to commute to work and back.
He called Sean up, Sean built him up a awesome conversion...
He's been riding fixed since, (since Sean built him a fixed bike with a broken brake that made his tires exploded while bombing a hill from work the first day he got it...)
